What is this Addon? GOURMET DREAMS transforms the mundane task of cooking in Minecraft into an art form centered around culinary mastery. Gone are the days of simple drag-and-drop cooking. With this addon, each dish requires meticulous crafting, where every ingredient is carefully combined to craft dishes and drinks. What does it mean to require meticulous crafting? Before creating a finished dish, you must chop, crush, and prepare ingredients. This means making a soup isn't simply about dragging ingredients onto the Crafting Table; instead, you will have to literally prepare the ingredients and cook them. What else is in this Addon besides cooking? Pretty much. Besides cooking, this Addon introduces a variety of new experiences, such as new mobs, plants, clothing, and features like thirst mechanics and the ability to appreciate the deliciousness of dishes and drinks. Dive into the art of distilling alcoholic beverages, read informative guide texts, encounter additional new plants, and much more. Special features of this Addon include: • Environmental influences on your character's thirst. Standing in hot environments will quickly increase your thirst, while cold environments will have the opposite effect, slowing down the rate at which you become thirsty. • You can hydrate by drinking water directly from the environment, requiring you to stand still and wait. Alternatively, you can collect water in bottles or jars, or drink from juice bottles, providing diverse hydration options. • You will lose health continuously if you lose all your water, so storing water is as important as storing food. • Trade or open chests to find exclusive items that can only be obtained through these methods. • After placing the pot or skillet on the cobblestone stove, you actually have to wait for the food to cook. • In addition to waiting for food to cook, brewing alcoholic drinks or pickling also requires a specific amount of time. Check the clock icon next to these items to see the duration you need to wait. • The addon offers two modes to choose from: Default and Dishes' Recipe Reveal. Select Default Mode if you prefer to unlock recipes step by step, or choose Dishes' Recipe Reveal Mode if you want the addon to display all the dish recipes upfront. • Your character will automatically evaluate dishes. Upon consuming a food or drink, if it's the final product, your character will display two states - 'enjoyment' and 'disappointment' - with corresponding icons above their head. • The addon enhances the abundance of flowers and grass in your world, creating a greener and more vibrant environment. • Open biomes will spawn butterflies. There are seven different types of butterflies, including snow butterflies that exclusively spawn in cold biomes, and pure pink butterflies that exclusively spawn in Cherry Grove biomes. • Miss Wayfarer will spawn throughout the overworld, offering to trade items necessary for her travels. • And there are many more things waiting for you to discover for yourself.
